Hey everybody!

Apologies for the lack of activity over the last several months, the day job and life and so on just got in the way and has kept me away from the decks way longer than I would have liked.

I've got a new-old mix to share with you though, something I pulled out of the archives after hearing another dj play a few of the tracks that I put into it.

Stay Loose!! is a slice of classic (and classic sounding) funk, soul and hip hop that I did for a friend of mine in 2005. I think it's one of the first mixes I ever did where I was actively using samples in between and over top of the original tracks. Enjoy!

Over on Facebook, I've been doing some music recommendations for the past few weeks on mondays and fridays, posting something that I've been really into. Could be something brand new, could be a classic from back in the day, but trust that everything is gold. :)

You can check out the posts from the last weeks over on my DJ Shagz facebook page, and hit that der "Like" button if you haven't already to get notified when I post new reccos.
